Taxi sharing during peak hours

Sometimes when I took a taxi home from work, I had to wait in a long queue for my turn to board a taxi. There are times it takes over an hour standing in a queue especially during rainny days. There is so few taxi when it rains because with coupon system fare, most of the time it's cheaper than meter fare. Normally if this happens, a lot of taxi drivers would asked the Marshall if there is any passenger going the same direction. The driver wants to cover the 'metering fair' during peak hours and the traffic jam.

Most people is willing to share their taxi as long as they get home safely. However, there are a few who don't want to share a taxi because they have paid the coupon fare. They feel that they deserve to exclusivity due to the fare paid and willing to wait longer until their turn. Isn't this insane? Why would one wait longer just to get an 'exclusivity' ride after waiting for more than 30 minutes? No harm sharing, as long as we are careful who join us in the same taxi.

It's ok to learn but don't pretend to know

Sometimes it just gets to my nerves to see people who pretend to know a lot but didn't know much (after a few times, I have to assume there're something learnt). Being pretentious and know-how and know-it-all don't work in this generation and year. It's ok to ask and learn but don't pretend to know all and ask me back why this and that.

Take it easy and put down our pride and ego, start learning. As long as our eyes are open, we will have to continue learning and gain knowledge. Sometimes, we need to unlearn some of the old habits or 'expired' process flows and working style.

What to do if you encounter this type of people? I just ignore them.
