The "Noice"

Working in this company really opens my eyes to a whole new breed of female and male that I normally don't encounter or meet in my circle of friends. Things that I would never see a female do in public, I see it here.

FEMALE:
Before they open their mouth, they look like any other female you see on the streets, your next door neighbour etc. But when they open their mouth, all hell broke. One, poor communications skill. When trying to explain something in their broken English, they goes round and round the world and I still can't understand what they are trying to say or want to do. I tried to speak to them in Mandarin but funny thing is they still answer me in broken English. I fully understand that they try to cope with me speaking English, but I think I much prefer them to speak English so I can understand better.

Two, the "BURB" sound. Have you ever seen a female burb loudly in the open???? It disgust me to hear it and my imagination run wild. Whether it's after food with full stomach or in the meeting, they just go Burrrbb... no 'excuse me' no apologise...

Three, the sneezing or "AHHCHOOO". Sneezing openly is the favourite. It's understandable if someone sneeze aloud due to emergency like not enough time to over their mouth. Unfortunately, the Ahh..Ahchooo.. is continously a few times without covering one mouth. Imagine the spread of the gems to the people around you. YUIKS! Have some decency to cover ones nose or mouth when you cough or sneeze.

MALE:
Men in general won't speak Engligh if they are not fluent. I guess is the ego thing. However, for item Two and Three are the same.

FOUR, a smelly feet or shoes that could kill a cow miles away. Male has thing about taking off their shoes when they work. Not all, just a few in my company. Once the feet is out, the smell can even kill a fly. It's worse than the liquids that dripped on the street when a rubbish truck pass by. People around has to endure the foul smell all day long.

FIVE, wearing a torn slippers in the office. This is the worse. We are suppose to be professionals working in a GLC company, unfortunately the people inside doesn't reflect such way. Yes, I dress casually but I dress presentable, be it in jeans and T-shirt.

That's the environment I'm in now. This is just my view. Well, that's all folks.
