Migration to Another Country

Recently a few of my friends who have migrated to another country have been advicing me to do the same. They said it's better opportunity for a better life. They migrated due to better children education, better career opportunities and of course better income.

Some of my friends said that living here, they felt that being a Chinese they often loose out. They need to a few times better than the others in the same position, yet sometimes the pay and benefits are less. It is worse if you're a female, sometimes they have to really work extra hard to proof themselves. Yet, with all the time burned in the office, they are label as 'dara tua' or bitch and is assume they have no life or love one. I'm sure there're some truth in it but luckily I didn't came across such employer or company.

Is migrating to another country will improve my life? Will i get a better career opportunities and benefits? This are just few of the things one needs to consider before making a decision or applying for skilled migration. We always think the grass is greener of the other side. I'm sure if your skilled is in the top list of skilled required, it would be a great opportunity. However, don't be fool by the 'opportunity' without studying the situation throughly. Some people became lost, depress and lonely after migrate to the country of their choice. It's sometimes not so easy to start over again. It would be better if you have friend or relative already living there. At least, you have some social communication. Now, let me check with country I would like to apply for skilled migration.
