Some companies practice Exit Interview for employee who is leaving the company. Ideally, I believe this is a good practice but most of the times it objective is not successful.
Normally, Exit Interview form has a set of questions asking about the reasons an employee decided to leave the company and how The Company can improve its processes, policy, Human Resources, working cultures, management culture etc in the hope that the reminding employee working environment will improve.
99% of the time, a resigned employee is not sincere on the reasons for their resignation. Most will mentioned 'Better career prospect' or 'Better salary package' as the main reason. Some even put 'No comment' or just dash (-) in the form. Only 1% is honest and openly stated the reason for their resignation. Maybe is the eastern culture thingy. Very much like how we are unable to mention our weaknesses when asked during an interview.
From my personal experience, most resigned employee thinks that it's not their problem anymore when they resign and has no intention to help the company improve working conditions for the other employees. Selfish, you say? No. Most of them want to remind neutral and don't want to get their hands dirty. Some don't want their previous employer think negative about them.
End of the day, an Exit Interview won't work if there's no cooperation from the resigned employee.

Work for Passion or Money?
Work for passion or work for money? This question has been thrown to me several times and I finally stop and really think about it. At this point, most people work for money and forego their passion. There are those a few lucky ones who gets good money and love their work.
Personally I believe it's important to work for money and passion. However, lately I sided $$$$$ money more because I know I will ended up with more work and responsibilities. So, it's better to get paid the salary that justify the responsibilities. I'm not a person who go after big titles (and it makes it so much harder to fit into 1 line in a small business card too) but work should be challenging and interesting.
